Plants by scientific name Phaleria macrocarpa is also known by the name simalakama (Malay / Sumater), Makuto Dewo (Java). These plants originated from Papua and has been known efficacious for treating various diseases, such as: Diabetes Mellitus, Cancer and Tumor, Hepatitis, Rheumatism and Gout.

1.Diabetes Mellitus 

Treatment: Drink boiled water

Method: - Take 5-6 Mahkota Dewa fruit, slice and wash clean.
- Boil in 5 cups of water, let it stew until the remaining 3 cups water
- Strain the cooking water, drink 3 times a day (each 1 cup)

2. Cancer and Tumors
Treatment: Drink boiled water
Method: - Mix 5 grams of dried fruit pulp Mahkota Dewa with 15 g temu white, 10 g and 15 g dry sambiloto scribble dry, wash all materials
- Boil all ingredients in 5 cups water, let it stew until the remaining 3 cups water
- Strain the cooking water, let it cool and drink 3 times a day each 1 cup. Potion drink 1 hour before meals

Kalanchoe Pinnata Pers

Sosor Bebek in Latin known as Kalanchoe Pinnata Pers. The leaves are quite thick, in addition contains a lot of water, also keeps a variety of chemicals that are beneficial to health.

A health site, the National Center for Biotechnology Information, said that bufadienolides contained in the Sosor Bebek has antitumor.

Research conducted by Supratman and his colleagues from the Applied Biochemistry Division, Osaka Prefecture University in Sakai, Japan, showed that the isolation of five bufadienolides of leaf Sosor Bebek has the effect of inhibiting the activation of early antigen Epstein-Barr virus (EBV-EA) in Raji cells which caused by the tumor.

Besides bufadienolides, Sosor Bebek which has slightly sour flavor, soft, and cool it also contains lemon acid, apple acid, vitamin C, alkaloids, flavonoids, quercetin-3-diarabinoside, and kaempferol-3-glucoside. Chemical constituents makes Sosor Bebek could be used for various treatments.
